August 1

12:07 a.m. Someone called to report a noise complaint on Old Mammoth Road and said they could hear a lot of yelling and people rolling shopping carts outside. The reporting person said it was too dark to provide a description of the subjects.

12:47 a.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstances on Old Mammoth Road and said someone grabbed ahold of their niece while at the bus stop and said to come with him. The reporting person said the man was wearing a gray sweatshirt and shorts.

3:51 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbance on Old Mammoth Road and said they had been verbally threatened by an unknown subject. The reporting person said the subject got in their face and screamed “If I see you around local, you’re going to have problems.”

August 2

12:30 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbance on Main Street and said a bearded homeless male was yelling and cursing at everyone.

1:33 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbance on Old Mammoth Road and said “the whacko walking around town” was yelling at people near a business.

4:09 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbance on Meridian Boulevard and said their ex was attempting to gain access into the residence. The reporting person was requesting officers remove the ex from the area.

August 3

2:56 p.m. Someone called to report a reckless driver on Minaret Road and said the driver of a silver Toyota 4runner had blown through two red lights and nearly hit some pedestrians.

August 4

4:03 p.m. Someone called to report an animal issue on Commerce Drive and said someone had dropped off a dog and had not returned to pick it up. The reporting person believes the dog was dumped and would like an officer to take it to a shelter.

August 5

8:26 a.m. Someone called to request medical aid on Main Street and said their daughter had passed out. The reporting person said their daughter was alert and breathing but her skin appeared yellow and hot to the touch.

10:06 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbance on Main Street and said a minor had been fighting with some family members. The reporting person said the family had the minor restrained.

August 6

7:06 a.m. Someone called to report a traffic collision on Forest Trail and said someone had run their car into a tree. The reporting person said the driver appeared to be uninjured, but the vehicle was smoking.

5:32 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbance on Main Street and said the guests were refusing to leave. The reporting employee said they had issued a refund to the guest, but they were staying in the lobby staring at the employee making them uncomfortable.

August 7

12:21 a.m. Someone called to report an intoxicated person on Minaret Road and said a drunk man was inside the bar and was refusing to leave.

7:44 a.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstances on Sierra Manor Road and said people were loading stuff out of the back door of a closed business.

12:29 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Lake Mary Road to check on a pedestrian who had crashed on their bike.

6:10 p.m. Someone called to report an intoxicated person on Old Mammoth Road and said a woman was passed out in the stair well. The reporting person said the woman had vodka bottles taped to her stomach and another person, who appeared to be drunk, was pacing back and forth in the area claiming the woman was a friend.
