Citizen’s Fire Education Academysession 2 is May 16

The second session of the Citizens’ Fire Education Academy will focus on the topic of Fire Ecology and will feature guest speakers from The Fire Restoration Group and the U.S. Forest Service Pacific Southwest Research Station. The event will be at 6 p.m. via Zoom and is open and free to all. The academy is not designed to train firefighters but rather, to help local residents learn how to survive, live with and mitigate the ever-growing danger of a catastrophic wildfire in or near local communities.
