May 2

8:09 a.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstances on Majestic Pines Drive and said a front door was ajar with the keys in the lock. The reporting person said the door was in the same position when they passed by later in the day. They did not approach the home and no cars were in the driveway.

12:23 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbance on Old Mammoth Road and said an intoxicated female subject was aggressive and threatening to the reporting employee.

2:22 p.m. Someone called to report an intoxicated person on Sierra Park Road and a female subject was laying on the ground in the bike path. The reporting person said the woman stated she was cold and laid on the ground while holding her beer.

May 3

10:26 a.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Lake Mary Road to issue a parking citation.

10:57 a.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Minaret Road to issue a parking citation.

1:46 p.m. Someone called to report a suspicious vehicle on Sawmill Cutoff and said a silver

Nissan Altima had been parked in the area all week. The reporting person said the vehicle had temporary tags and a sticker on the windshield from the dealership.

4:33 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbance on Minaret Road and said a physical altercation involving an employee had occurred at the general store.

5:15 p.m. Someone called to request police contact on Mountain Boulevard and said they had called three times regarding a crying baby at the apartment complex, it has been going on for weeks. Dispatch noted that the caller sounded elderly and confused during each call.

9:40 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbance on Pinecrest Avenue and said a subject was in their home trying to kick them out. The reporting person said the subject was claiming they had broken a “sober living” contract.

May 4

12:36 p.m. Someone called to report their child was being harassed on Valley Vista Drive. The reporting person said their child was followed by an unknown man who was asking the child where they live and stares at the child whenever they walk by.

3:49 p.m. Someone called to report illegal camping on Sherwin Creek Road and said someone was camping on the east side of the Hayden Cabin in a bright green tent.

May 5

2:03 p.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstances on Old Mammoth Road and said a male subject had broken beer bottles on the sidewalk and was screaming and hollering from inside his residential unit.

5:41 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Meridian Boulevard and discovered a rock had been thrown through a window.

8:20 p.m. Someone called to report a suicidal subject and said the subject mentioned they were going to commit suicide. The reporting person said they did not know if the subject had a plan.

May 6

9:19 a.m. Someone called to report a theft on S.R. 203 and said three catalytic converters had been cut off of company vehicles and they would like more information on how to prevent it from happening again.

11:02 a.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer responded to Industrial Circle to take a report for a catalytic converter theft.

11:53 a.m. Someone called to report a disturbance on Old Mammoth Road and said their mother was walking out of their unit and an unknown male subject attempted to attack her.

10:09 p.m. Someone called to report an intoxicated person on Joaquin Road and said a man was laying on the ground and then got up and proceeded to stumble in the direction of Meridian Avenue.

May 7

1:23 a.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Berner Street to check on an unoccupied vehicle with its interior light on.

10:38 a.m. Someone called to report a possible hazard on Sawmill Cutoff and said debris from the construction site was blowing away.

May 8

1:12 a.m. Someone called to report an intoxicated person on Minaret Road and said they had found a drunk man sleeping on the ground. The reporting person said the man was too drunk to walk but did not need medics.

3:33 a.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstances and said they had broken into a business to use the phone to call for help. The reporting person said they were in a hostage situation involving their spouse and in need of medical attention.
