Rally for Roe

A group of people gathered in Mammoth on Mother’s Day to protest the possible overturning of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision. “While we are a small community, our voices still matter and my goal was to promote the issue,” said the organizer, local resident and attorney Sophie C. Bidet. “Despite the blustery winds coupled with Mother’s Day, about 30 people, men, women and children, stood on the corner of Main Street and Old Mammoth engaging with passerbys. We received only positive feedback including honks and thumbs up.” More rallies could be planned she said.
