November 14

7:44 a.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstances on Main Street and said an unknown person was sleeping on the premises. The reporting business owner said they would wait for officers to arrive.

4:30 p.m. Someone called to report harassment on Canyon Boulevard and said their friend had threatened them verbally by asking if they “needed a death certificate.” Dispatch noted both subjects might be intoxicated.

10:16 p.m. Someone called to report a traffic accident on Minaret Road and said they had hit a bear with their vehicle. The reporting person was worried the bear might be alive and badly injured and did not know what direction the bear went after the incident.

10:19 p.m. Someone called to report a parking problem on Forest Trail and said a white big rig with a trailer was parked with the engine running and causing a lot of noise.

November 15

7:28 a.m. Someone called to report a trespasser on Old Mammoth Road and said two females exited a gray SUV and were lingering around a closed business. The reporting person said the women had no connection to the business.

12:54 p.m. Someone called to report a parking problem on Canyon Boulevard and said a blue Subaru had been parked in a 30 minute parking area for the past two days.

3:08 p.m. Someone called to report a parking problem on Manzanita Road and a silver Toyota had been parked for the past week and appeared to be abandoned.

4:48 p.m. Someone called to report a bear on Chateau Road and said a mama bear and two cubs were inside the dumpster.

November 16

8:07 a.m. Someone called to report a traffic collision on Meridian Boulevard and said two vehicles had been involved in an accident and one of the parties involved was becoming aggressive with the other driver.

6:38 p.m. Someone called to report a possible hazard on Meridian Boulevard and said a vehicle had broken down in the road.

7:10 p.m. Someone called to report a missing person on Main Street and said their brother was overdue to check in with them for a day. The reporting person said they confirmed their brother had been skiing on the mountain and was not admitted at the hospital.

November 17

9:09 a.m. Someone called to report a disturbance on Main Street and said a male subject was banging his head against the wall and threatening to harm himself further due to a possible domestic dispute.

6:51 p.m. Someone called to report an animal issue on Lupin Street and said they could hear an animal screaming across the street.

9:31 p.m. A Mammoth Lakes Police officer stopped on Sierra Boulevard to check the area for illegal campers.

November 18

Someone called to request medical assistance on

Rainbow Lane and said they had found an unresponsive male.

9:08 p.m. Someone called to report a civil problem on Old Mammoth Road and said their parent was kicking them out and they are 15 years old.

November 19

1:02 a.m. Someone called to report an intoxicated person on Main Street and said an older male with a white beard wearing a black jacket and ball cap was drunk and falling down.

4:50 p.m. Someone called to report an open door on Beaver Trail and said they had been informed the neighbors garage door had been open for a few days and no one is staying at the house.

4:57 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbance on Main Street and said one car was repeatedly hitting another car. The reporting person said both parties were still on scene and they had video footage of the road rage.

9:07 p.m. Someone called to report a disturbance on Canyon Boulevard and said a physical altercation had occurred in the bathroom and one person was yelling “let me go” while the parties left the building.

November 20

2:34 a.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstances on Chateau Road and said someone had a knife and was trying to kill them. Dispatch noted it was the same subject from an earlier call.

2:34 p.m. Someone called to report suspicious circumstances on Old Mammoth Road and said a silver minivan appeared to be over loaded and the driver was leaning on the steering wheel not moving. The reporting person said the driver’s door was ajar.

7:00 p.m. Someone called to report a parking problem on Sierra Boulevard and said a trailer was parked in the middle of the road blocking the intersection. The reporting person said nobody was inside the trailer and the lights were off.

7:55 p.m. Someone called to report a suspicious person on Meridian Boulevard and said a person in a yellow jacket was banging on their door. The reporting person said the subject will leave when they look out the window but will return to bang on the door.
